Town to town. Up and down the dial. Until I stopped at 95.1 FM WRKI in Brookfield, CT.

My radio career began in 1991 at 530 AM WOWL, the college radio station of Southern Connecticut State University. While there, I interned at 99.1 FM WPLR in New Haven, CT, until eventually landing my first professional on-air gig in 1996 doing weekends at 106.9 FM WCCC in Hartford, CT, using the on-air name of "Fletch"!

In 1998, I did weekends for 93.7 FM in Hartford under three different formats (Classic Hits 93.7, 93-7 The Point, and Dancin’ Oldies 93.7). During that time, I also did some fill-in sports and news updates for 1320 AM WATR in Waterbury, CT. I wound up getting the full-time weeknight gig at WRKI (i95) from 2000-2006, before returning to i95 in 2009, where I've been doing Saturday mid-days ever since (in addition to working full time for the State of Connecticut). You can listen to my show live every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET at

I've been fortunate to interview some amazing artists during my radio career. These include Gregg Allman, Blue Oyster Cult, Shinedown, Peter Frampton, Twisted Sister, Judas Priest, and more.

Along with the regular articles I write for i95, I contribute to the Van Halen News Desk at I also host a great podcast with author Carol Ford about Bob Crane (Colonel Hogan of Hogan's Heroes) called The Bob Crane Show: Reloaded. Bob was my Dad Jim Senich's cousin and we aim to tell the whole story of Bob Crane's life and career. In addition, I host and produce Did You Know? The Movie Trivia Podcast, which will debut in 2018. As if that's not enough, I host a podcast series for Jannetti Publications, Inc., a healthcare publishing firm. Check 'em all out by clicking the Podcasts tab above!
